Flying from Bratislava instead of Vienna: where to park your car
Bratislava Airport is about an hour's drive from Vienna and many low-cost flights leave from there. Here is what you need to know if you drive over from Austria and park for your trip.
Vienna and Bratislava are the two closest capitals in Europe. For many flights, especially low-cost ones, it makes sense to compare both airports. Ryanair and other airlines fly from Bratislava to many holiday destinations.
Getting there by car
- From central Vienna it is about 70 km to Bratislava Airport, roughly an hour's drive depending on traffic.
- From Kittsee or Hainburg, Bratislava Airport is closer than Vienna Airport.
- The usual route is the A4 and A6 to the border at Kittsee, then the Slovak D4 motorway.
- You need an Austrian vignette for the A4 and A6 and a Slovak digital vignette for the D4. The Slovak one is sold online at eznamka.sk.
Where to park
Our car park at Stará Vajnorská 39 is about 5 minutes from the terminal. Outside the high season a week costs €49.99 and two weeks €84.99, with the shuttle to the terminal and back included. For comparison, a week at the airport's own P2 car park costs €95.

- Free shuttle to the terminal and back, day and night.
- Pay only the first night online. The rest can be paid on site by card or in cash, in euros.
On the day of your flight
Set your navigation to our Google Maps profile. There are two car parks in the same complex: go through the green gate and continue straight on, and you will find us on your right. Show your confirmation e-mail at the gate and we will drive you to the terminal.
When you land, call +421 910 383 338 after collecting your luggage and we will pick you up in front of the terminal.
